Love myself... Yes, I do!
I love not just the light, but also the shadows that make me whole.
I embrace my seemingly contradictory nature – my crazy lifestyle alongside my iron discipline, my free spirit alongside my grounded wisdom.
I cherish my freedom of expression, even the way my eyes darken with exhaustion after a day lived fully.
I've learned to trust, to open my heart despite knowing it might break. This courage to remain vulnerable is part of my strength.
I stand proud of who I am today and excited for who I'm becoming tomorrow.
I believe imperfection is the truest form of beauty, and that genius often dances with madness. Better to be authentically ridiculous than forgettably boring.
While we can't control every event that shapes our story, we can choose how we write its chapters. Life is a collection of moments – some gentle, some fierce – and I choose to embrace them all.
This is my journey, my truth, my becoming.
I am Vaishali Roy, though many know me as Ritu. I am an author, poet, certified life and wellness coach, podcaster, speaker, and entrepreneur. At my core, I am a woman who took her deepest pain and built something purposeful from it.
Based in Jamnagar, Gujarat, I write because words saved me when nothing else could. My five published books span self-help guides that decode toxic relationships, raw memoirs of survival, and Hindi-Urdu poetry that speaks what the heart struggles to say out loud. Each one is drawn directly from lived experience.
After surviving a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2022 that left me unconscious for thirteen days, I found my true calling: helping women reclaim their power and heal naturally. Today, I guide 116,000+ women through life's toughest transitions as a certified life and wellness coach.
I hosted two podcasts, "Zindagi Se" exploring life and relationships, and "Mahek - Khusboo Alfaazon Ki" celebrating the art of poetry. I am also a voice-over artist, motivational speaker, and co-owner of a shipping firm with my husband.
As a mother of two and a wife, I understand the constant negotiation between personal dreams and family life. That reality informs everything I create, from my books to my coaching programs to the daily content that reaches thousands of women.
My upcoming book "The Licit & The Illicit" explores the psychology of forbidden attraction and toxic relationship patterns. It is my most honest work yet.
When I am not writing, coaching, or running my business, you will find me cooking, traveling, exploring new cuisines, or creating original Hindi music. Every experience sharpens my understanding of people and what they carry.
Through every book, podcast, and coaching session, my purpose stays the same: to show women that their pain is not a dead end. It is the starting point of something far stronger.
My love affair with words began in childhood, sparked by my father's writings. What started as a little girl playing with language has become my life's work. I am still learning, still growing, still discovering what words are capable of.
The dream of becoming a radio jockey lived in me for years before it became real. In 2012, I finally got my chance with Radio Asia Live. The channel's run was brief, but it awakened something I could not set aside.
So I built my own platform. Radio-Masala.com was a web radio channel that ran from 2012 to 2017, a space for creative expression where passionate voices came together. Technology evolved, circumstances changed, and eventually the channel closed. But the foundation it built did not.
In January 2023, I stepped into podcasting with two shows that reflect different sides of who I am.
"Mahek - Khusboo Alfaazon Ki" celebrates the beauty of poetry, where words carry emotions that ordinary conversation cannot hold.
"Zindagi Se" is a dive into life's honest, complicated journey. Real conversations about what it actually means to be human.
From childhood scribbles to professional podcasting, every chapter has confirmed one thing: words, written or spoken, have the power to heal, connect, and shift something in a person. That is what keeps me going.
I started on Instagram in 2022 doing what most people do: experimenting with trending Reels, trying voice-over formats, chasing what was popular. It felt hollow.
So I stopped chasing trends and started sharing what actually mattered to me. My original poetry, meaningful two-liners, real thoughts about real struggles. People started listening.
Then the comments and DMs began pouring in. Not just "love this," but "I need help with..." People were hurting. People were lost. They needed guidance navigating toxic relationships, rebuilding self-worth, and choosing themselves for the first time.
I had always been that person for my family and friends. I had spoken at events. I had motivated people during my radio days. But I never thought to build a platform around it until my audience told me they needed it.
So I did.
Today my content covers everything from self-love and personal growth to navigating betrayal and recognizing red flags. I create in response to what you are going through, your questions, your struggles, your stories. This is not about building a brand. It is about building a community.
What started as Instagram Reels has grown to YouTube, Threads, and a community of 120,000+ women who show up daily with real conversations, vulnerable shares, and transformations that continue to humble me.
I am not here to sell you something.
I am here because I have been through what many of you are facing, and I found a way through it. If my words help you find yours, that is exactly where I am meant to be.
January 13, 2022. Rishikesh. A peaceful holiday turned into the fight of my life.
The accident left me with three metal plates in my body, six months of bed rest, and nine months before I could walk again. My ankle is still compromised. I will never run again.
What they do not tell you about recovery is this: the body heals faster than the soul.
During the day, I smiled. I stayed strong for everyone watching. At night, I cried into my pillow wondering if I would ever feel like myself again. The physical pain was brutal, but the mental and emotional weight of it came close to breaking me completely.
What saved me was not willpower alone. It was a deliberate choice to heal rather than just survive.
I joined a health community thinking I only needed to lose weight. What I found instead was a complete roadmap to transformation. The physical changes came, yes. But what shifted inside was far more significant.
My sleep improved. My mood stabilized. My migraines disappeared. My diabetes, which had required insulin, reversed completely. My triglycerides normalized. Slowly, and then all at once, I fell back in love with my life.
I did not just heal my body. I rebuilt my entire relationship with it.
That experience changed the direction of my work. I became a wellness coach because I know from personal experience that the body has an extraordinary capacity to heal when you give it what it actually needs. No medications. No shortcuts. Just alignment, consistency, and the patience to trust the process.
Reversed diabetes. No more migraines. Insulin dropped. A body I am proud of. These are not small things. They are the reason I do this work every single day.
After my own transformation, becoming a wellness coach felt like the only logical next step. I went through intensive training, but what I have learned since is that the real education happens daily, in the community, with real people facing real struggles.
What drives me is watching people wait until they are desperate before they prioritize their health. By the time most people reach out, their options are limited, their bodies are exhausted, and the path back is far harder than it needed to be. That is why prevention matters so much to me. Start before the crisis, not after it.
Our three-day trial program exists for exactly this reason. Low commitment, real results. People see others transforming and think, if they can do it, maybe I can too. They are right.
I have coached my mother, my sister, my aunts, my friends, and hundreds of others. Each person's journey is different, but my approach stays consistent. I treat every client with the same care and attention I would give my own family, because that is genuinely how I see the people who come to me.
I have two daughters of my own. But my sense of responsibility does not stop there. When you join my wellness community, you become part of something larger. I celebrate your wins, sit with your struggles, and refuse to let you give up on yourself.
The greatest reward in this work is watching someone's health change in front of you. Every medication dropped, every pain that fades, every smile that comes back. That is why I do this.
Giving someone the knowledge and tools for lifelong health is one of the most meaningful things one person can do for another. That is what I am building, one person at a time.

Life coaching found me during my recovery, not the other way around.
After my accident, I was not just healing physically. I was battling depression, drowning in negative emotions, and questioning everything about myself and my relationships. In that period, I learned something that became the foundation of everything I do: healing starts with self-love, and healthy relationships begin with knowing your own worth.
As my Instagram grew, something shifted. Women stopped just liking posts and started opening up. Toxic relationships. Lost identity. Shattered self-worth. They trusted me with their pain, and I took that seriously.
I do not have a psychology degree. What I have is lived experience, genuine empathy, and the ability to listen without judgment or agenda. But I knew that personal experience alone was not enough to serve people the way they deserved.
So I got certified as a life coach. I combined my own transformation with structured professional training, and built an approach that works from both the inside and the outside.
My work is grounded in one simple truth: I have been broken, and I rebuilt myself. I know what it takes to leave a toxic relationship, reclaim your identity, and make decisions from self-respect rather than fear. I cannot walk the path for you, but I know every turn on it.
Life coaching became a natural extension of my wellness work because real healing is never just physical. It is emotional, mental, and deeply personal. It is the process of becoming whole across every part of your life.
If you are lost, stuck, or finally ready to choose yourself, I am here. Not as someone with all the answers, but as someone who did the work and came out the other side.

Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. - Harvey Fierstein
You are unique. You have different talents and abilities. You don’t have to always follow in the footsteps of others. And most importantly, you should always remind yourself that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing and have a responsibility to develop the talents you have been given.
The easiest thing to be in the world is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Don't let them put you in that position.
